The Kornati National Park archipelago covers an area of 220km2 and consists of 89
islands, islets and cliffs. Most of the park consists of the marine ecosystem (as much as
¾) which is often cited as the bluest and clearest part of the Adriatic Sea. The island of
Kornati is generally known as the densest Mediterranean archipelago.
