The Telašćica Nature Park

The Telašćica Nature Park is situated in the southeastern part of Dugi Otok and it features numerous peaceful bays, forests, fields, olive groves and vineyards. The park is characterized by the gulf of Telašćica (one of the most beautiful natural Adriatic ports), the so-called “rocks” of Dugi Otok and by the therapeutic salty lake Mir. The total area of the Park is more than 70 km2 and the nearest settlement is Sali.

The most important feature of the Telašćica Nature Park is certainly its pronounced contrast which is reflected in the diversity of natural elements: quiet beaches and bays are in absolute contrast to the barren rockery, which makes this area a true jewel of the Adriatic archipelago.
